If you are in England like me you will be experiencing the bitter cold and numbing snow. as I am an Englishman i live a pessimistic life so i have negative views on every especially the weather, it really gets warm in England so its forever cold, but us English never get used to it.
When i eventually rolled out of my warm bed this morning into the bitter cold i thought to myself “I wish i was in the Caribbean! its always hot and sunny over there”? ……. Definitely beats my situation!! This definitely trumps my current situation!

The People of the Caribbean don’t understand how lucky they actually are! Having a tropical climate which stays hot all year round, the surprising thing is the people actually dislike their summers because it gets way too hot, the beaches, towns and streets are baron as people dare to step out of the shade encase they get burnt this seems actually ridiculous to me as id personally be laying on the beautiful white beaches, Chilled drink in my hand a good book ,dripping from head to toe in factor 50 sun cream then Id occasionally take a dip in the bath like oceans, it just seems to good to be true, I wish they could experience what were going through they then might appreciate the beautiful weather they have been blessed with.

Many sun seekers have recently been booking Dominican Republic Holidays i cannot really blame them! It beats being covered in snow due to miserable weather, fortunate couples are planned or have booked their Caribbean weddingsin preparation for when they tie the knot next year.

I would adore to go on Antigua Holidays This Second!! But with Christmas around the corner I highly doubt I could dig that deep into my pocket to afford it, so I say roll on the English summer.

Personally im tired of Christmas! I mean I enjoy being with my family and taking part in Christmas festivities like cooking the Christmas dinner and plenty of drinking, the problem there’s no variation, it’s the same routine every year I’d like to spend it differently perhaps abroad.

People who go abroad for their holidays tend to jet off to countries which have snow like the mountains in countries like France, Italy, and Austria. I’d like to go somewhere different for Christmas a country which nobody thinks about around Christmas time.

The Carribean country of Cuba would be a strong nominee for a country I’d to visit at christmas! The Cuban people are strict Catholics which mean’s Christmas is widely celebrated. Because of its Caribbean location the country is currently basking in hot sun, imagine sun bathing on a beach at Christmas… Is this Right or Wrong??

maybe Cuba Holidays don’t sound appealing maybe a Dubai Holidays might be your up of tea, I highly doubt the people of Dubai celebrate Christmas to a great lengths making Dubai ideal location for all you “Bah Humbugs” out there.

I promise you won’t feel let down when visiting Dubai as the Hotels and Resorts are Epitome of luxury! Most of the hotels and Resorts in Dubai Offer up amazing Service, Cuisine and Hotel Facilities, the accommodation are luxurious are packed full of useful features, if you detest Christmas i couldn’t think of a better place to go.

Tourists are being advised to go on their Caribbean holidays as a destructive but thankfully relatively un-deadly hurricane season draws to a close.

Hurricane Tomas claimed the lives of 14 people on the island of St. Lucia early in the month of November. The Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility (CCRIF) paid out $13 million to islands effected by the rampant destruction, including Barbados, St. Lucia and St. Vincent. Whilst the speed with which even St Lucia got back on its feet has impressed many, the destruction has lead many in the Caribbean to question whether their economies are sustainable. Others are taking heart in the fact that all twelve of the hurricanes failed to make landfall in the US, keeping a valuable source market in good health.

The bad weather has been less than positive news for the wider Caribbean economy which relies so heavily on the tourism sector. Whilst Trinidad and Tobago have rebounded well from the economic recession, their Oil and Gas leaves them uniquely privileged among Caribbean countries. Others rely all too heavily on Tourism, timber and agriculture which are always heavily effected in the aftermath of a hurricane (as happened in St. Lucia). Critics of Caribbean Economy are insisting that produce must diversify. They also believe that other source markets should be looked to: emerging markets like China and India, relatively unaffected by global recession.

The problem with tourism isn’t that the sun has stopped shining of course. A trip to Barbados, St. Lucia, Jamaica or any of the rest of these fabulous islands is a beautiful and unspoilt and wonderful as it’s ever been. However, there’s a futher problem: the Caribbean no longer has sole control over the image of the tropical paradise. Mauritius holidays are among a barrage of alternatives halfway around the world, and also of great appeal to the European market. Tourists are also finding new tropical destinations, such as appealing Thailand holidays for a continental tropical climate.

the Dominican republic isn’t like the other Caribbean country’s as it has a long cultured past. The native people to the island of Hispaniola were the “Tainos” people, records show the Tainos people lived on the island from as earlier as Circa A.D 650.

The Tainos thrived on the island as they Farmed the rich soils and Fished the tropical seas like an infinitive food source. The islanders divided the Hispaniola into 5 areas each under rule of its own High chief. A Spanish Fleet of ships discovered the lands of the Dominican Republic in 1492, Friendly and humble Tainos people welcome and happily accepted the Spanish adventurers. Disaster struck the Native tribes, as the alien travellers accidently bought “Small Pox” with them which wiped out many of the native Tainos people. The Tainos blood line still runs though many Dominicans veins with the last Surviving pure blooded Tainos dyeing in 1864. The Spanish used the rich and resourceful lands primarily for Plantation farming and the Gold and Silver mining which sparked a slave trade industry in the country. The western coast of Hispaniola (Hiati) had been explored the French who had civilised the area and claimed the land for themselves.

Pros:
Many People take trips to New York Holidays and come back with a overwhelming feeling in which they feel so minute because the experience of the Busy, exhilarating city has made them feel inadequate to the rest of the “Real World”.

The Shopping experience is the key factor of New York as many Designer and Major Brands have their flag ship stores in New York.

Cons:
If you don’t like crowds New York isn’t the place for you!
